This is the story of a cup that dreamed of becoming a hat. Not just any hat, but a bowler hat. Day after day, it fulfilled its duty diligently — serving coffee and marking the occasional moment of pause. Yet secretly, it longed for something more. One day, someone turned it upside down. To everyone’s surprise, nothing happened. And yet, everything changed. The cup discovered that, at rest, it had become a hat. A modest black bowler hat, elegant and slightly mysterious.
Designed in Brussels by Damian O’Sullivan as an homage to Belgium’s most iconic painter René Magritte.
Made from porcelain and 100% dishwasher proof.
